Lol - no I think its just the obvious joke being made - that there's no way he could have got SO many chances after consistent failures unless he was keeping the BCCI "happy" ;-)
Well,I always felt he performed fairly well,keeping in mind the standard of the fielding of the indian cricket team and ever-so conducive pitches in India.His strike rate is one the best in the world.
